In Kazan marked the most dangerous crossroads

The most emergency intersections in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan are the intersections of Nikolai Ershov – Innovators and Daurskaya – Guards. He gave details at a meeting of the Commission on Road Safety of the City Executive Committee, the head of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Kazan Mikhail Savin.

For 5 years and 9 months, they were unable to restore order at two intersections. The intersection of Nikolai Ershov and Innovators over the past six years is an emergency and dangerous, much to shame, it entered the top five intersections with the highest accident rate in the country. The change in the organization of traffic at this intersection has been repeatedly discussed at the commissions on road safety. They proposed the abolition of the left turn from Ershov to Innovators, but after the results of the simulation of the situation, the organization of road traffic here did not change, Savin said.

According to traffic police statistics, since 2021 there have been 117 accidents with material damage. During the same period, 145 accidents with material damage occurred at the Daurskaya-Guardsskaya intersection.

Mikhail Savin commented on the situation at the intersection of Daurskaya – Guardska Streets: for several years in a row it has been an emergency-hazardous site. The main type of accident is a collision of a car, more often when turning left along Guardska Street from the side of the Ametyevskaya highway towards Adel Kutuya Street.
