Stepfather raped stepdaughter and made an altar out of her underwear, then killed mother

In New York, a 50-year-old woman was shot in the head. The murder is suspected of her ex-husband, who later committed suicide. This was reported by the New York Post.

Allison Pelk, 30, revealed she was abused by her stepfather Norman E. Laura Jr. in January 2023. The girl and her mother, Melissa K. Pelk-Laure, went to the police. They were issued two security warrants. However, the man violated the ban at least three times, and this remained without consequences.

According to Allison, in the closet, the stepfather arranged an altar of her underwear and other inappropriate objects and liquids. He also had about 100 firearms there.

Melissa moved in to protect herself. On October 27, the woman was found dead in her home. The investigation linked the murder to a 2009 red pickup truck. The car was found, behind the wheel was the ex-husband of the deceased. He tried to get away from the police, and the chase began. After about 320 kilometers, the man stopped and committed suicide.

In Primorsky Krai detained a 39-year-old resident of Partizansk, suspected of sexual abuse of his own daughter — according to the investigation, the crimes were committed from 2017 to 2025. The schoolgirl said that her father raped her from four to twelve years, threatened to kill her and relatives, and after leaving the family continued to pursue the girl at school.
