Pensioner from Chernihiv district returned stolen money

The pensioner from Chernihiv district returned the money stolen by the fraudster.

In December 2025, a 66-year-old resident became the victim of a telephone fraudster: he, posing as an employee of the security service of a mobile operator, lured 83,591 rubles from the woman.

Law enforcement officers established the owner of the account, where the money came, a resident of the Novosibirsk region. The prosecutor's office filed a claim for the recovery of funds, and the court satisfied the claims in full. The execution of the decision is controlled by the prosecutor's office.

The prosecutor's office of the Zaporozhye region warns that "safe accounts" do not exist. In case of suspicious calls, you should immediately interrupt the conversation, block transactions through the bank and contact the police.
