Near Yekaterinburg rescued a guy who got lost in the forest with swamps and a bear

In the Sverdlovsk region, a tense search and rescue operation was completed: the Breakthrough squad found and brought out of the forest 16-year-old Mikhail, who, due to confusion with buses, was outside Yekaterinburg.

According to the press service of the SROO DPSO "Breakthrough", everything began on October 6, when a request for help was received on the hotline of the detachment. The teenager was heading from Berezovsky towards the railway station, but confused the flights and left in a completely different direction. Going out at a shop in an unfamiliar village, Mikhail did not even realize that he was in another village, and continued on his way.

The situation quickly became complicated: the coordinates that were first obtained were incorrect, and the explanations of the guy on the phone were confusing. When Mikhail reported that he heard the sound of a train in the distance, the searchers adjusted the route and focused on the area of the village of Kedrovka, surrounded by swamps.

Rescuers had to work in difficult conditions. The terrain was difficult to pass, the search went on foot and on quad bikes. In addition, the locals warned about the bear that wandered nearby - this required special care.

By the evening, the situation became critical: the charge of Mikhail’s phone dropped to 13%, the voice was heard that the teenager was freezing, soon the connection disappeared completely. Closer to the night, the main group of the detachment went on the trail and began to work “on response”. Half an hour later, in total darkness, the searchers heard the voice of the guy. Michael was found: he went into the very water in the dark and stood in a puddle. Due to the difficult terrain, the evacuation took an hour.

The wet and frozen guy was wrapped in a thermal blanket and handed over to doctors. Severe hypothermia was avoided.

The Breakthrough team expresses its gratitude to local residents and all public services that helped in the search and rescue operation.

Earlier, MK-Ural wrote that the search for a 14-year-old teenager Dmitry was completed in Pervouralsk. He was found after a few days of searching. On September 8, the boy went for a walk, but did not return home. The teenager was searched for by volunteers and police officers.
