Under Ryazan, a repeat offender stole about 200 tracksuits from the warehouse

Police detained a 57-year-old recidivist suspected of stealing from a warehouse of a clothing company in the village of Vetzootechnica. This is reported by the press service of the regional MIA.

The police department was contacted by employees of the enterprise, who late in the evening noticed a beam of a flashlight in the windows of the warehouse. The operatives established that the attacker entered through an old hole in the wall and stole about 200 sets of tracksuits.

During the inspection of the scene, a smartphone belonging to a local resident was found. The man was detained at home, there were also stored stolen things. According to preliminary information, the attacker planned to sell the goods to a neighboring region, but did not have time.

Earlier, the man was repeatedly convicted of embezzlement and spent about 30 years in prison, having been released only in March of this year. A criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The attacker faces up to 5 years in prison.
