The search for romance turned for the Montenegrin loss of 30 thousand rubles

The search for a “cozy evening” on dubious Internet sites for a 32-year-old resident of Montenegro ended with a visit to the police. The desire to spend time in the company of a stranger cost him 30 thousand rubles, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for RH reports.

The man on the site of intimate services chose a questionnaire with an attractive photo and contacted the “manager” at the specified number. “Confirm the order” and book time he was offered for 10 thousand, which the Montenegrin without hesitation transferred.

He was soon asked for another 20,000 for additional insurance. The victim, set up for a date, continued to transfer money in parts.

When the total amount reached 30 thousand rubles, the appetites of the attackers grew, and they continued to play with the victim. Soon, the Montenegrin was told that there was a “technical failure” in the payment system and another 40 thousand rubles must be paid to cancel the reservation and refund. It was only at this point that the man realized that he had become a victim of professional manipulators. He stopped communicating and turned to the police, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for RH told.

Often such groups operate from abroad. Fraudsters use fake sites and accounts to solicit funds. They bet that victims, due to the specifics of the service, do not immediately understand when they are being manipulated.
