Landfill in the Yelets district fined 720 thousand for violations after the fire of waste
The Central Black Earth Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor brought Realtiko LLC to administrative responsibility following an unscheduled on-site inspection

The Central Black Earth Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor brought Realtiko LLC to administrative responsibility following an unscheduled on-site inspection.
The reason for it was the information of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Lipetsk region about the fire of waste at the landfill of solid household waste in the village of Nizhny Vorgol of the Yeletsky district, where the company conducts economic activities.
During the inspection, inspectors revealed a number of deviations from the requirements recorded in the documentation with a positive conclusion of the state environmental expertise. In particular, the resupply of waste placed on the maps of the landfill with insulating soil is not carried out in full - including in areas along the edges of the fire. In addition, at the facility, contrary to the current legislation, waste containing useful components that are subject to disposal is buried.
A separate violation concerns the information of the supervisory authority: the company did not send operational information to the management about the accidental release of pollutants into the atmospheric air caused by burning waste.
According to the results of the inspection, the legal entity was punished under Article 8.1, Part 4 of Article 8.2 and Part 2 of Article 8.4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The total amount of the fine was 720 thousand rubles. In addition, the society issued an order to eliminate violations - the deadline for its execution is kept under control by the agency.
