After the descent of wagons with grain in the region of the Russian Federation started a business

After the derailment of wagons with grain in the Kursk region opened a criminal case. This was reported by the press service of the Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, the incident occurred in September 2026 at the station Lgov-2: during the transportation of eight cars with grain for a technical reason, the train derailed.

As a result, the railway track and wagons were damaged, and the owners suffered damage by more than a million rubles. Investigators opened a case under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport, which entailed causing major damage) and establish all the circumstances of the incident.
