On Thursday, October 8, regional authorities commented on the incident. According to the regional Ministry of Construction, the fire covered an area of about 60 square meters.

The next day, on Friday, October 9, representatives of the regional GU EMERCOM released footage from the scene. Rescuers explained that at the facility under construction in Nolinsk burned bitumen roof.

Emergency services were involved to eliminate the fire: 10 specialists and 4 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing.

According to the preliminary version of the experts of the department, a short circuit in the electrical wiring led to the fire.
