Firefighters removed a gas cylinder from a burning house in Novoaltaisk
In Novoaltaisk on the afternoon of September 23, a private living house caught fire. During the liquidation of the fire, rescuers evacuated a gas cylinder from the construction.
As reported in the press service of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Altai Territory, the incident occurred on the afternoon of August 23 in Novoaltaisk on Minin Street. The fire and rescue unit reported a fire of a private residential building.
When specialists arrived at the site, thick smoke was coming from under the roof of the building.
In total, the flames spread over about 30 square meters. To eliminate the fire involved 12 personnel on four units of special equipment.
In the course of extinguishing, the gas cylinder was evacuated by gas smothers.
The preliminary cause of the fire is a violation of the rules of installation of electrical equipment.
