The Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Prosecutor’s Office organized an inspection after a fatal accident on the 303rd kilometer of the Surgut-Salekhard highway. According to the traffic police of the district, about 15:40 on Saturday, October 10, “Lada” went to the oncoming lane and collided with Hyundai.
From the comment of the Prosecutor’s office it follows that one person died, the second victim was taken to the hospital Muravlenko. The traffic police reported two dead – a driver and a passenger of “Lada”.
Prosecutor Olga Zhilina left for the scene of the accident. The supervisory authority will also check traffic safety on this section of the road.
After the accident, traffic on the 303rd kilometer of the Surgut-Salekhard highway was completely blocked in both directions. Drivers were asked to temporarily refuse to travel through this section in the Pyakupur River area.
