In the police department No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Pskov appealed to a local resident born in 1975. The man became a victim of remote scammers - the total damage from the actions of the attackers exceeded 7.5 million rubles, law enforcement officers reported to MK in Pskov.
As told in law enforcement agencies, fraudsters came into contact with Pskov through the messenger. They introduced themselves as employees of the Federal Security Service and under various pretexts convinced the man to urgently transfer all his savings to a so-called “safe account” – in fact, such an account does not exist.
In fact, the investigative unit opened a criminal case under part 4 of article 158 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation. The case is under investigation.
