A resident of the Volovsky district is accused of preparing to give a bribe to an employee of the State Traffic Inspectorate. This was reported in the SU IC of Russia in the Lipetsk region.
According to the investigation, on the evening of July 18, 2026, a 38-year-old man was stopped by employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate in the Volovo district. The driver was drunk and offered the inspector money to avoid administrative liability.
Despite repeated warnings about the inadmissibility of bribery, the man continued to insist on the transfer of money. However, he failed to bring the plan to the end: the traffic police officer refused remuneration and reported the incident to the duty unit.
During the investigation, the accused confessed to what he had done and told how it all happened.
The criminal case went to court. The maximum penalty under this article is up to eight years in prison.
