Tovarkov robbers sentenced

The Dzerzhinsky court outlined decisions in criminal cases on robbery and beating of a local resident and penetration into his home.

The incident occurred in April 2025. Two local residents, breaking down the door, entered one of the apartments and beat a serviceman who was undergoing treatment after being wounded.

“The attackers used a rope with a nut and a gas can, demanded money from the victim. As a result of their actions, the health of the victim was seriously harmed, the regional investigation committee said.

Now one defendant is sentenced to 8 years 8 months of imprisonment in a correctional colony of strict regime, and the second, who found a mental illness, sent to compulsory treatment in a closed hospital.
