The attack itself occurred on August 28 at around 23:00. A neighbor, armed with a stun gun and an unregistered traumatic pistol, broke into the site of the Russian.

When the owner went out to smoke, the attacker used a stun gun. To the cry came the wife, who pushed the intruder from the porch.

The man ran towards the forest, but, facing the fence, opened fire after his owner, firing three bullets. One of them hit the victim in the forearm. Doctors provided assistance on the spot, hospitalization was not required.

The next day, police arrested the suspect. He was a 69-year-old man who had previously served time for theft of vehicles.

The police found a shell casing at the scene, and the victim himself found the liquid left by the attacker for ignition, which indicates the intention to set fire to the house.

The official representative of the Sverdlovsk police, Colonel Valery Gorelykh, confirmed the information about the attack and detention of the suspect, noting that the materials were sent to the investigating authorities for a procedural decision.

He also added that the victim is not in a hurry to write a statement, possibly trying to find a compromise with the abuser.
