Russians killed by a log near a cafe

The court sent into custody a 22-year-old resident of the Smolensk region, accused of killing a 37-year-old man. The election of a preventive measure was reported in the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to investigators, the tragedy occurred on the night of October 25 near the cafe “U Mammad” in the village of Andreykovo. The young man, who was intoxicated, quarreled with a 37-year-old visitor. During the conflict, he beat the man and then hit him on the head with a log.

The injuries suffered by the victim were fatal. The accused was detained during the investigation. Other details of the case in the SK report are not given.
