In Stavropol announced the sentence of a 55-year-old local resident. He was found guilty of murdering an acquaintance, the SU TFR and the regional prosecutor's office reported.
The massacre took place in April 2026. Two men were drinking in the apartment, and a quarrel broke out between them. During the conflict, the defendant grabbed the korta and punched the 35-year-old opponent at least 14 times in the face and body. The injuries were fatal, the man died on the spot.
The court imposed a sentence of nine years and six months imprisonment with serving in a strict-security correctional colony. In addition, he will be restricted for another year and six months.
In addition, the civil claim of the injured party was satisfied. The convict will be charged 1 million rubles. On the verdict, the regional prosecutor's office reported in the official channel on the Max platform. The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
