According to the district administration, beavers have created a threat to the uninterrupted water supply of the entire city, damaging the infrastructure at the Katai water intake, an object on which the supply of water to the population directly depends.

The animals undermined the trunks of several trees, and they collapsed directly onto the power line that ensures the operation of the equipment. As a result of the fall of trees, the equipment was damaged.
