Russian student in hospital after being beaten by schoolboy

In St. Petersburg detained a schoolboy who attacked a student with a knife at a shopping center.

On October 5, 2026, the police of the Central district of the city was contacted by a woman who reported an attack on her 16-year-old son.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, unknown persons beat a college student and, threatening him with a knife, tried to take his phone from him.

After the attack, the young man was taken to the hospital in a state of moderate severity.

The next day, police detained a suspect in the crime. He was a 16-year-old schoolboy. On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened under the article on robbery.
