From a drunken Lipchan recovered almost a million rubles for demolished pavilion at the stop

The Prosecutor’s office of the Soviet district of Lipetsk has achieved recovery from the perpetrator of the accident compensation for damage caused to the municipality.

A drunk 18-year-old resident of the city, who did not have a driver's license or a CTP policy, smashed the pavilion at the bus stop. The court satisfied the claim of the supervisory authority in the amount of more than 935 thousand rubles, the prosecutor’s office of the region reported.

The inspection established the circumstances of the incident: on the night of April 11, 2026, a young man driving a VAZ-21099 was moving along the street of Cosmonauts and crashed into a stop pavilion. The impact was so strong that the object suffered damage incompatible with recovery.

The prosecutor sent a lawsuit to the court to recover the cost of the harm caused from the perpetrator. The requirements were met in full. Execution of the court decision is monitored by the supervisory authority.

Earlier, the young man had already served an administrative arrest for the offense - the punishment was imposed under Part 3 of Art. 12.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
