Two teenagers killed on Novosibirsk motorcycle will be tried

The Iskitimsk interdistrict prosecutor's office approved an indictment against a 25-year-old resident of the district who drove a vehicle without a license and caused an accident with a fatal outcome for two people.

According to the materials of the investigation, on July 10, 2026, the accused, without a driver's license, was moving by car along the highway from the village of Berezovka towards the village of Stepnoy. While driving, he drove into an oncoming lane where a motorcycle was driven by a 15-year-old from the same area. There was a head-on collision.

As a result of the accident, a minor motorcyclist and his passenger died on the spot. The defendant himself fled the scene.

The criminal case was transferred to the Iskitimsky District Court for consideration on the merits.
