Family couple under investigation after knife threats and kicking

In Gothenburg, Sweden, police detained the couple after a family quarrel, during which a man allegedly threatened his wife with a knife, and a woman in response kicked him in the face. The victim with a bleeding wound to the head was taken to the hospital. The circumstances of the incident are established by law enforcement officers.

The incident occurred in the eastern part of the city. The emergency service was called by a woman who reported threats from her husband. According to her, during the conflict, her husband threatened her with a knife, after which she stabbed him in the face.

Arriving police found out the preliminary circumstances of the quarrel and decided to detain both participants. The man was suspected of unlawful threats, and against his wife began proceedings on suspicion of serious assault.

As a result of the impact, the man received a head injury, accompanied by bleeding. An ambulance was called to the place, which took him to a medical institution.
