According to police, the incident occurred on October 9 at about 16:20. According to law enforcement officers, the man tried to cross the cash register with unpaid goods, broke glass and injured the 45-year-old manager with shrapnel. It was also reported that he beat a woman and sprayed pepper spray on her side.
The victim went to the emergency room. After medical treatment, she was released in satisfactory condition. The suspect - a 22-year-old unemployed man - was detained at the house 24, building 1, on Mentors Avenue.
The man was taken to the police department and brought to administrative responsibility for petty hooliganism. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved. He had previously been tried six times for theft and robbery, including similar theft of goods from a grocery store.
Earlier in St. Petersburg charged 52-year-old resident of the Leningrad region with 22 convictions in the murder of a friend. According to investigators, at the end of August in the apartment on Chudnovsky street, a man in a state of alcoholic intoxication during the conflict inflicted a 36-year-old friend multiple stabs in the head and chest. The victim died on the spot. The accused faces up to 15 years in prison.
