Schoolboy-tracker attacked the driver of the tram in the Russian city

In Yekaterinburg, a 14-year-old schoolboy was detained after an incident with a tram driver. The incident occurred on the evening of October 5 near one of the houses on Uralskaya Street. This was reported in the SU IC in the Sverdlovsk region.

According to the investigation, the teenager was on a coupling device tram. The driver made a remark to him, after which the minor sprayed an aerosol with an irritant in her face. The victim needed medical attention, she was taken to hospital with injuries.

After the incident, the investigative authorities opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on hooliganism with the use of an object used as a weapon. During investigative and operational-search activities, law enforcement officers identified the alleged attacker. He was a student of one of the schools of Yekaterinburg.

The student was detained in a procedural manner. Investigators intend to decide on the issue of charging him and choosing a preventive measure. The investigation is ongoing. All the circumstances of the incident are established and the evidence base is collected.
