Pupils of school No. 164 of the Krasnogvardeysky district of St. Petersburg reported a brutal beating of a seventh-grader by a ninth-grader. According to the teenagers, the victim received a broken arm with a displacement in two places, a concussion and numerous facial hematomas. According to the students, the beating occurred on the first floor near the wardrobe. Teenagers claim that the high school student and his company have previously provoked and bullied younger students. In the corridor, as the guys say, companies often gather that smoke vapes and bully passing students. There are no CCTV cameras in the area and teachers are rarely seen.

The students also complained about systematic bullying and the lack of effective measures on the part of the school management. They argue that abusers get away with verbal remarks, and teenagers are afraid to become victims of attacks. Discussion of the incident continues in the school group in social networks, where, according to students, some users also poison the injured boy.

Ekaterina Mizulina said that she will send appeals to the prosecutor’s office and the Investigative Committee with a request to conduct an inspection.
