In the Baltic Sea, a cargo ship ran aground during a storm. According to the EMERCOM of Russia in the Kaliningrad region, the incident occurred when the ship was traveling along the coast.

According to TASS, preliminary, the ship was not damaged. Pollution of the water area was not found, none of the people were injured.

The day before in the Kaliningrad region warned about the deterioration of the weather. On October 9, forecasters predicted an increase in wind with gusts of up to 27 meters per second.

Earlier we reported that the storm cut off the Baltic Spit from the mainland.
