SK organized a check on the death of two women in a fire in the Voronezh village

In the village of Rostoshi, Ertil district of the Voronezh region, a fire occurred in a residential building on Naberezhnaya Street, the victims of which were two elderly women - 66 and 86 years old. At night on October 26, the fire destroyed the interior decoration of the premises on an area of 30 square meters, while the ceiling collapsed, the roof was also damaged. The flames completely destroyed two outbuildings, the area of which was 40 and 24 square meters.

Another resident of the house, along with two children aged 9 and 10, managed to leave the building engulfed in the fire before the arrival of rescue crews. The bodies of the dead women were found by emergency workers after the fire was extinguished.

The Anninsk Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Voronezh region conducts a procedural check on the death of two people as a result of a fire.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire could be a faulty operation of the heating appliance.

At the moment, investigators carry out a set of verification actions, the purpose of which is to find out all the circumstances and causes of the incident. Following the audit, a procedural decision will be made.

Earlier it was reported that in the Voronezh region since the beginning of the year in fires killed 76 people.
