SK will check the work of utilities after the pipe break on Litavrina Street

A criminal negligence case was opened in Lipetsk after a 19-year-old girl received burns due to a break in a hot water pipe. The accident occurred on November 5 on Litavrina Street. The victim was hospitalized, she was given the necessary medical care.

The case was opened against officials of the resource supplying organization under part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Investigators will check how responsible officials maintained and monitored the state of the heating networks, as well as ensured the safety of residents.

All the circumstances of the incident are being established and evidence is being collected. As a result of the investigation, the investigation will assess the actions or inaction of persons responsible for the maintenance of heating networks and the safety of citizens.
