SK conducts an inspection on the death of a man in Lake Seliger

The Ostashkovsky department of the Investigative Committee for the Tver region initiated a pre-investigation check in connection with the discovery of the body of a man in the water area of Lake Seliger. Removal of the deceased from the water was carried out by employees of the EMERCOM of Russia.

Investigators went to the scene, who conducted a visual inspection of both the area and the body of the deceased. To determine the exact cause of death specialists appointed forensic medical examination. This is reported by the press service of the IC in the Tver region.

Currently, the staff of the department establish all the circumstances and causes of the incident. Based on the results of verification measures, an appropriate procedural decision will be made in accordance with the norms of the legislation.
