The Investigative Committee of Russia opened criminal cases after complaints about groups of teenagers showing aggression towards peers in Moscow and the Moscow region. This was reported in the press service of the department.
According to the UK, reports of illegal actions of minors appeared on social networks. We are talking about groups of teenagers from among visitors operating in Balashikha near Moscow and the Eastern district of Moscow. Local residents complain about the aggressive behavior of young people and ask law enforcement to take action.
Investigative departments in Moscow and the Moscow region opened criminal cases under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism”). The circumstances of the alleged offences shall be established.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the capital’s headquarters Dmitry Belyaev and acting head of the Moscow region department Alexander Shmyrov to submit reports on the progress of the investigation and check the arguments set out in the publications. Execution of instructions was put under control in the central office of the Investigative Committee.
