The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on murder in connection with the death of a resident of the Kherson region. The deceased headed the precinct election commission. This was reported by TASS official representative of the RF IC Svetlana Petrenko.
According to her, the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a case under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It's a murder article. The reason was the attack of Ukrainian militants on the Kherson region.
Recall that the head of the precinct election commission No. 47 of the Aleshkin district of the Kherson region, Elena Litvinenko, died on October 8 when Ukrainian drones attacked the village of Novaya Mayachka – drones hit a residential building twice.
