Fatal accident in the Kaluga region turned into a criminal case

In the Kaluga region are investigating the circumstances of the accident with a fatal outcome on the highway “Belousovo – Vysokinici – Serpukhov”. After the death of a man under the wheels of the Audi TT, a criminal case was opened.

The accident occurred late in the evening of October 24, 2026 - after 23:00. The pedestrian died at the scene.

The case is being investigated under Part 3 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - about a violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of a person by negligence.

The investigation is being monitored by the Zhukovsky District Prosecutor’s Office.
