Fatal accident in Shumilinsky district: motorcyclist died while overtaking a passenger car

The fatal accident occurred on Sunday, October 4, at about 16:00 in the Shumilinsky district on the route R-20 Vitebsk — Polotsk. This is reported in the Telegram channel “GAI Vitebsk region” , writes sb.by.

According to preliminary data, the 42-year-old motorcyclist on Honda overtaking was not convinced of the safety of the maneuver and collided with the 62-year-old driver of Opel.

From his injuries, the motorcyclist died on the spot.

An inspection is being conducted into the accident.
