Deadly overtaking: near Novosibirsk, a young Nissan driver died in a head-on collision with a truck

The road tragedy played out about 1:30 a.m. on the 75th kilometer of the federal highway R-256 "Chuisky tract". The 23-year-old, who recently received the license, was driving a Nissan Teana sedan from Novosibirsk in the direction of Barnaul. On a long stretch of the track, where overtaking is strictly prohibited, the novice motorist took a deadly risk and sharply twisted the steering wheel into the oncoming lane. Jumping out of the darkness, a foreign car at full speed flew into a MAN truck with a semi-trailer.
As a result of the collision, the front part of the car was literally crushed and squeezed into the cabin. The young man’s injuries were incompatible with life.
At the scene of the accident, traffic police inspectors and an investigative team worked to clarify all the circumstances.
Earlier, "MK in Novosibirsk" reported that the driver of a foreign car died in a triple accident with a bus and a truck.
