The employee of the Voronezh store made a jewelry for 700 thousand rubles

Voronezh police detained a citizen suspected of stealing jewelry from a retail outlet.

The duty unit of the police department No. 8 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Voronezh was approached by a 52-year-old security service employee with a statement about the disappearance of jewelry from the store. It turned out that from August 1 to August 14 of this year, jewelry was illegally removed - three chains made in the weaving of Bismarck. The total amount of damage was 691 454 rubles. The fact of shortage of products was revealed during the inventory.

During the operational-search activities, the identity of the suspect was identified. She was a 37-year-old woman who worked at the same store.

While in the police station, the detainee admitted his guilt and said that she was in a difficult financial situation. When she was working in a store, she decided to steal gold jewelry so that she could sell it to a pawnshop.

A criminal case has been opened against a woman under article “Theft” (paragraph “c” of part 3 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The penalty provided for in this article is imprisonment for up to six years.
