Dispute between two " Wagnerovtsev" chat ended in murder

A quarrel between two residents of Yekaterinburg in the chat of participants of PMC Wagner ended in a street fight with a fatal outcome. This is reported by the Chkalov district court of the city.

According to the investigation, the conflict between the defendant and his opponent began in October 2025 in correspondence. The men agreed to meet on Trade Union Street in Yekaterinburg on the evening of October 16 to settle the dispute.

The second participant came to the meeting with a knife and behaved aggressively. During the ensuing fight, the defendant disarmed the opponent, but continued to beat him. As a result, the opponent received a closed traumatic brain injury, from which he later died.

The man made a confession. The trial began in March, but was suspended due to the serious illness of the accused. The process resumed on September 15.

On October 5, the court announced the verdict. The court took into account that the accused pleaded guilty, assisted the investigation, apologized to the injured party, and the conflict was provoked by the deceased himself, appearing with a knife. The accused was sentenced to one year of imprisonment.

The sentence has not yet entered into force and can be appealed.
