In the Novosibirsk region detained a 52-year-old fisherman who fired on vacationers in the Moshkovo district. As a result of the attack, one person died, two more were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

The tragedy occurred on the evening of August 28, 2026 in a forest on the shore of the reservoir. According to the investigation department, the suspect opened fire with a gun on a group of men.

One of them died at the scene before the ambulance arrived, two victims were taken to hospital.

According to the Telegram channel “Right to the left”, the detainee is allegedly a former soldier. On the day of the tragedy, he was resting on the shore in the company of three friends who left the scene after the shooting began.

According to the authors of the channel, citing an anonymous source in law enforcement, the shooter does not deny guilt. In addition, it became known about his intention to sign a contract for participation in a special military operation.

Official confirmation of this information from the Investigative Committee or the Ministry of Defense has not yet been received. The investigation into the circumstances of the attack is ongoing.
