“Insurance” and “leverage”: the nurse lost 5.95 million

A nurse from Norilsk lost 5.95 million rubles after meeting a man in a social network. This is reported by the Prosecutor’s office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The 36-year-old met a new interviewee in July. The man suggested that she try to make money on investments. After that, the woman installed a special application, registered and began to transfer money.

The results of transactions were displayed on the virtual investment account. At one point, the amount allegedly reached $ 25 thousand. However, the woman could not get the money back.

A friend continued to help her with the withdrawal of funds. To do this, he demanded to pay for additional services, including “insurance” and “leverage”.

From August to September, the woman transferred a total of 5.95 million rubles to the accounts indicated to her.

On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened on fraud on an especially large scale.
