Central Asian student arrested in Ivanovo for trying to sell drugs online

In Ivanovo, a 21-year-old second-year student of Lenin State University was arrested. The Frunze district court detained the young man for two months.

According to investigators, a native of one of the Central Asian countries tried to sell a consignment of drugs in a significant amount via the Internet. He was charged under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 3 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This is an attempt to sell drugs using the Internet.

The court granted the investigator's request, taking into account the gravity of the incriminated act. The criminal case is in progress.

Illegal consumption of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues causes harm to health, their illegal trafficking is prohibited and entails liability established by law.
