In the city of Donskoy, Tula region, the company "Grand A.V." was obliged to eliminate violations of environmental legislation. The court made this decision after the appeal of the Tula environmental prosecutor’s office, which revealed illegal discharge of industrial wastewater.
The inspection was organized after complaints from local residents. Specialists of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Tula region were also involved in the work.
During the inspection, it turned out that the company dumped production drains from the sewer well of the storm system directly onto the terrain. Subsequently, the contaminated waters fell into an unnamed stream, which is a tributary of the Bobrick River.
To stop the violations and protect the rights of residents, the environmental prosecutor appealed to the court. He demanded to oblige the company to stop the illegal discharge of wastewater and organize a sewage system at the industrial site.
The court satisfied the requirements of the prosecutor’s office in full. According to the decision, the enterprise must organize water disposal until the end of December 2027.
The execution of the judgment remains under the control of the Tula Environmental Prosecutor's Office.
