The court in Volgograd recovered from the ex-deputy illegal income over 164.8 million rubles
It was established that Stanislav Korotkov violated the law: he simultaneously performed deputy duties and was engaged in business
The Kirov district court of Volgograd considered the lawsuit against Stanislav Korotkov, a former deputy of the Volgograd regional Duma. According to the regional prosecutor's office, he violated the law, simultaneously performing deputy duties and doing business. The income was directed to the development of his business.
In order to hide the real financial situation and not declare assets, the deputy issued them for relatives and trustees. As a result, he managed to illegally obtain more than 164.8 million rubles. The prosecutor of the Volgograd region demanded to recover this amount in favor of the state – the court satisfied the requirements of the supervisory authority.
The decision of the court was executed: the money went to the state budget. Earlier, at the request of the regional prosecutor’s office, the powers of Stanislav Korotkov were terminated prematurely due to violation of anti-corruption prohibitions and restrictions.
