Sverdlovsk police stopped the supply of a large batch of methadone

Fighters against drug trafficking police Krasnoufimsk stopped the supply of a large batch of methadone on the territory of the Sverdlovsk region.

On the 170th kilometer of the road “Perm – Yekaterinburg”, near the village of Bakrizh, Achitsky district, as a result of operational-search measures, the police stopped the Mercedes-Benz E-200. The operation to work out operational information was carried out by employees of the drug control group together with the threat and traffic police of the Intermunicipal Department.

In the cabin of the car there were three men, all of them natives of neighboring countries – 1998, 2002 and 2003. Suspects have been arrested.

When inspecting the car, the police found two caches, which contained 23 convolutions of transparent polymeric material with a powdery substance. According to the examination, the seized substance is methadone weighing 7663.9 grams.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Krasnoufimsky” initiated a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30, Part 5 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempt at the illegal sale of narcotic drugs in an especially large amount).
