Liberian-flagged tanker attacked by crewless boats in Black Sea
The crew of 23 Indian citizens was rescued, no injuries. Spilt oil is burning in the waters, the Ministry of Transport of Russia has sufficient forces to eliminate the consequences.

The Aframax Rio tanker under the Liberian flag was attacked by unmanned boats off the Black Sea coast, the Russian Ministry of Transport said. The ship was carrying a cargo of oil, RIA Novosti reports.
The crew of 23 Indian nationals was rescued. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties among the sailors.
Currently, in the Black Sea there is an open burning of spilled oil. Russian Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin held a meeting of the headquarters to eliminate the consequences of the attack. The department assured that the available forces and means are sufficient for extinguishing, however, rescue ships will be able to start work only after reducing the intensity of combustion, when it becomes possible to safely approach the tanker.
In connection with the incident, the head of the federal territory Sirius Dmitry Plishkin urged residents and guests not to be on the streets for a long time and, if possible, not to open windows in the premises. The beaches of Sirius are temporarily closed and water and air conditions are constantly monitored.
