Body of missing man found during fishing in Russian region

In Tatarstan, the body of a 50-year-old man was found missing during a fishing trip in the Drozhanovsky district. This was reported in the press service of the GU EMERCOM of Russia in the region on Monday.

The report clarifies that the man went fishing in the area of the village of Lower Forest Shigali and did not return home. The search was attracted by the duty shifts of ZPSO No. 1 (Buinsk) and ZPSO No. 2 (Kazan): one group examined the coastline of three lakes visually on an area of about 4,600 square meters, while divers explored the water area by the galsa method on an area of about 10,000 square meters.

The body was found by locals in coastal reeds and handed over to police to establish the exact cause of death. According to the preliminary version, the man could break off the shore and fall into the water.
