A man has died after breaking into an enclosure with tigers at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in England. The tragedy occurred on October 10, according to The Guardian.
According to British media, the man received fatal injuries after being in the territory where predators were kept. Emergency services arrived at the scene could not save him.
The incident took place in the “Land of the Tigers” zone, a specially equipped two-acre space where Amur tigers are kept. To observe the animals, visitors use a walking path raised above the territory.
After the incident, visitors were evacuated from the park. Relatives of the deceased were informed of the incident.
The police began to investigate the circumstances of the incident. Law enforcers also urged not to distribute online videos of the attack, which appeared on social networks.
