The October district court of Tomsk has issued a verdict against a previously convicted 22-year-old local resident. She was found guilty of robbery.

Back in November 2025, Tomsk was visiting a new friend. There she asked for a mobile phone under the pretext of calling a taxi, hid it, and the hostess, leaving the apartment, said that the gadget remained in the kitchen. He was found missing immediately, but the attempt to stop the kidnapper failed.

The public prosecutor insisted that the correction of the defendant without isolation from society is impossible: she had previously been convicted of crimes against property.

Taking into account the position of the prosecutor and the punishment for the earlier sentence, the court on the set of crimes appointed the convicted 2 years 3 months of imprisonment with serving a sentence in a colony-settlement.
