Metropolitan operatives revealed the theft of marketplace goods, the amount of damage from which amounted to 2.2 million rubles.
According to investigators, two men 24 and 25 years were engaged in cargo transportation on the basis of an oral agreement. They were supposed to deliver a batch of goods from the warehouse to the point of issue of orders, but the cargo did not reach the destination. This is reported by the press service of the interior Ministry in Moscow.
As established by law enforcement officers, 23 boxes of goods were transferred to a third party for further implementation. The suspects were detained by officers of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Metrogorodok district together with colleagues from the Internal Affairs Department in the Eastern Administrative District.
On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. Both defendants are in custody. Possible additional episodes are being checked and other participants in the illegal scheme are being identified.
