The Proletarian District Court of Tula sentenced the previously convicted Andreyev A.S. to three years in prison for deliberately setting fire to two cars. The man will serve his sentence in a correctional colony of strict regime.
According to the court, the incidents occurred on May 10, 2025. In the period from 20:05 to 20:55 Andreev, along with another person, production in respect of which was suspended, set fire to a Mazda 6 car in one of the garages of the garage cooperative of the Proletarian district. After that, they fled. The damage to the owner of the car was 418 thousand rubles.
Later, from 21:00 to 21:15, the men set fire to a Daewoo Nexia parked outside an apartment building in the same area. As a result, the owner suffered damage in the amount of 218 thousand rubles.
The total amount of damage for the two episodes amounted to 636,000 rubles. Andreyev fully admitted guilt and repented of what he had done.
On October 12, 2026, the court found him guilty of two crimes under Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code. The recidivism of the crimes was taken into account. The man was sentenced to three years in prison with serving in a strict regime colony.
After the announcement of the verdict, Andreyev was taken into custody in the courtroom. The decision has not yet entered into force and can be appealed.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” wrote that the authorities of Novomoskovsk through the court require 2.4 million rubles from the local cooperative. The reason can be both accumulated arrears for the lease of land, and the collection of fees for the actual use of land.
