A court in the Caucasian district sentenced a 50-year-old local resident who again sat behind the wheel while drunk. A foreign car was seized from him.
The man had already been previously punished for refusing medical examination after stopping on the road, but in June of this year he again drove a car in a state of intoxication - he was stopped by traffic police officers in the village of Caucasian.
In court, the driver pleaded guilty. He was assigned 200 hours of mandatory work and deprived of the right to drive for two years.
At the request of the Prosecutor’s office, the man confiscated the Audi A6 car, which he used in the commission of the crime, turned into the state income, the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Krasnodar Territory reported.
