“The son had a scar”: a resident of the Crimea for 10 years finds out who he buried
Crimean resident Nikolai Z

As it became known “MK”, this tragic story occurred in 2015 in the suburbs. On October 12, a young man named Sergey went missing, and on November 7, 2015, the corpse of an unknown man was discovered on the banks of the Moscow River. The investigation considered that this is the son of Nikolai Sergey. As a result, a criminal case was opened on the fact of murder. For the murder in 2018, the Zhukovsky city court sentenced to 6 years in prison the alleged killer, someone Anokhin. The deceased worked as a security guard and allegedly, when Sergei drank too much, the boss, offended, took him to the bank of the river and pushed him into the water. As a result, the man lost consciousness and choked.
However, there were serious inconsistencies in the case. According to Nicholas, at the time when the son was already buried, he learned that the identification was carried out on the photos of the decomposed corpse by the same Anokhin, who was found guilty of murder. Why the mother and father, who are alive, were not asked to come and identify the body, or at least not even shown them pictures, is a big question. Anyway, when the father got acquainted with the materials of the criminal case, he fell into a stupor. The corpse did not have a scar from appendicitis and a scar behind his ear that his son had. Neither the clothes nor the description confirmed the resemblance to Sergei.
Later, Nikolai learned that in April 2016 in the same place was found the corpse of another man, identified by the name of Smirnov. As a result, the man sought the help of lawyers to figure out which of the corpses could be his son. As a result of the exhumation, it was possible to make DNA of the femur bone, which showed that the man is most likely not a relative of Nicholas.
Since then, Nicholas has been fighting for the truth. At the same time, he regularly visits the grave of the deceased, who was identified by the killer as his son. The remains of the deceased were transported from the Ramenskogo urban district of the Moscow region to the Crimea to one of the public cemeteries. Nikolai’s latest appeals to resume criminal proceedings went unanswered. That is why he asks human rights defenders to help find his son or find out something about his fate.
